Victorian Mysteries for Youth

I know, we're not in England, but reading novels is all about pretend! Fancy yourself a young Sherlock Holmes? Want to read something like Sherlock Holmes without the not-so-elementary language style? Check out these great reads from Booklist and try not to get gum on your shoes.

Cheers,

Hey Blood Red Apple Lovers!

The Twilight Saga Teen Book Club discussion went super well! We were gabbing for about two hours. It didn't feel like 2 hours did it, ladies? To all of those who missed the discussion, we missed your imput on Stephenie Meyer's first book in the series, Twilight. So, if you would like to comment on your favorite scene, feel free to do so. The copies of New Moon will be here before I know it. ha, ha. So, look forward to hearing my voice on your voicemail to let you know that your copy is waiting for you all safe and snug on my desk.

Below is the Twilight Saga schedule:

We will have breakfast and discuss Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga in the Bates Auditorium.
June 21st @ 10AM—
New Moon.
July 19th @ 10AM—
Eclipse.
August 16th @ 10AM—
Breaking Dawn

I'll be sure to have more apple thingies.

Cheers,

Audrey

We're Featured in a National Magazine!

In last months issue of VOYA (Voices Of Youth Advocates) the teen center (The HUB) and teens from our library were featured in a four page article called "The HUB: An Unlikely Aliance of Young Adults and Senior Citizens". Our teens were even pictured on the cover! We're very proud of our space and our teens!

If you'd like to read the article click here to download the PDF file.
