It's finally here!

The day has finally arrived...the first day of the 7th book of Harry Potter! YAY!
Go ahead and cheer...you know you want to.

Since the books arrived to be catalogued on Wednesday, we've been eagerly awaiting the time when we were allowed to FINALLY open the box. It was hard, we all WANTED to be sorted into Gryffindor, but several of us were close to that Slytherin title as we were very tempted to open it early!
In preparation for the day, several of our staff visited Barnes and Noble and Borders lastnight to join in the festivities of the release parties. We are also having a party of our own today at the library for witches, wizards and muggles alike ages 10 and up at 12noon until 1pm. Come join us for some fun!
Here are a few pictures of the events. We even met several of our regular patrons.

Professor McGonagall with the sorting hat.

Professor Sprout Talking to a reporter and teaching about herbs.

One of our faithful patrons and I sharing our love of Professor Snape. Trust Snape!
